Trump says Ukraine war resolution "closer than people realize"

nvesting.com -- President Donald Trump said on Monday that a resolution to the war in Ukraine is "getting closer than people realize" and that he will discuss Ukraine during upcoming talks in Turkey this week at a NATO summit.

Trump spoke following a call with Russia's Vladimir Putin earlier on Monday.

"Putin does feel pressure," Trump said. The president added that talks continue: "we're in talks, will see if we can end it."

Trump described the call with Putin as "very good."
