Investing.com -- Tesla showed mixed registration numbers across several European markets for July on Monday, with strong performance in France and Denmark offset by steep drops in Norway, Sweden and Spain.
Tesla vehicle registrations, which serve as a proxy for sales, increased 86% in France and 52% in Denmark compared to the same period last year, according to data from French car body PFA and Denmark's bilstatistik.dk.
The company's registrations fell 97% in Norway, 60% in Sweden and 81% in Spain, based on numbers from compilers OFV, Mobility Sweden and industry group ANFAC.
Overall registrations of new battery electric vehicles rose 51% in June, data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association showed.
Last month, Tesla reported record second-quarter delivery numbers that exceeded Wall Street estimates, supported by a rebound in Europe.
Registration data from Britain and Germany, Europe's two largest car markets, is expected later this week.
