Standard Aero wins $62M Navy engine repair contract

Investing.com - Standard Aero Inc. (NYSE: SARO) won a $62.3 million contract modification for Navy engine repair services, according to a Department of War announcement.

The San Antonio-based aerospace company received the modification to an existing firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The modification exercises options for continued depot repair of T56-A-427 engines, including repair of the power section, torque meter, gearbox, and accessories in accordance with Navy depot manuals and approved repair practices.

Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, accounting for 75% of the contract, and Winnipeg, Canada, accounting for 25%. The contract is expected to be completed in August 2027.

No funds will be obligated at the time of award. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued.

Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity. The contract was competed.
