Seagate Technology shares climbed 3.8% in morning trading Tuesday to $616.11, recovering from a series of declines that followed the company's fiscal first-quarter 2027 earnings report on October 27.
The stock had fallen through Monday after multiple analysts reduced their price targets. The shares remain well below their 52-week high of $1,145.
On Monday, the stock dropped approximately 3.7% after UBS released a note extending its timeline for Seagate to achieve its $1 billion run-rate conversion goal to 2028. UBS maintained a positive outlook and stated that about 40% of the company's long-term growth potential appeared reflected in the current stock price.
The Tuesday gain reflects buying interest from investors reassessing the stock's value after the recent losses, rather than new company-specific news. Analyst consensus on the stock remains weighted toward Buy ratings.
