Russia says it hopes Ukraine peace talks will resume soon
Investing.com -- Russia anticipates that peace negotiations with Ukraine, with United States mediation, will restart in the near future, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
The last peace talks between the two countries took place in February. No negotiations have occurred since that time.
Peskov stated that the Kremlin will not publicly discuss potential elements of a possible peace settlement.
His comments came after Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump held a telephone call on Tuesday to discuss prospects for ending the war.
