Raytheon wins $34 million contract for V-22 software support

Investing.com -- The U.S. Department of War awarded Raytheon Co. a $34,364,909 contract to support the V-22 Tactical Software Suite, the department announced Monday.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee order was issued against a basic ordering agreement established in 2025. Raytheon will provide engineering, management, technical, and acquisition support to maintain operational readiness of the V-22 fleet for the Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy.

Work will take place at Raytheon's Indianapolis, Indiana facility and is scheduled for completion in August 2028.

The contract will be funded through multiple fiscal year appropriations. Fiscal 2026 funds account for the majority of the obligation, including $8,230,418 from Air Force aircraft procurement, $6,541,169 from Navy research and development, $6,109,935 from Navy aircraft procurement, $5,969,238 from Navy operations and maintenance, $4,818,482 from Air Force operations and maintenance, and $2,090,824 from Defense-Wide procurement.

Additional funding includes $309,895 from fiscal 2025 Air Force aircraft procurement and $294,947 from fiscal 2025 Defense-Wide procurement funds.

Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland served as the contracting activity. The order was not competitively procured.
