Northrop Grumman wins two U.S. defense contracts worth $38.7m

Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. secured two separate defense contracts from the U.S. Department of War with a combined value of approximately $38.7 million.

The company's Radford, Virginia division received a $19,999,798 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of non-standard ammunition. The Army Contracting Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois awarded the contract after receiving two bids from two solicited companies. Work locations and funding will be determined with each individual order under the contract, which is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 2027.

Separately, Northrop Grumman's Oklahoma City, Oklahoma division was awarded an $18,730,567 modification to an existing delivery order for the manufacture and production of B-2 hot trailing edges. The modification is part of a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract with performance work to be conducted in Utah. The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma issued the modification, which has a completion date of July 10, 2029. The Air Force will use fiscal 2026 defense working capital funds for the contract.
