Northrop Grumman wins $71.9M Air Force contract modification
Investing.com - Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. received a $71.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of Defense for software and hardware prototypes and related services.
The engineering change proposal modification, designated P00060, amends previously awarded contract FA8750-23-F-0501. The modification covers InSITE software and hardware prototypes, InSITE capability procurement, fielding and installation with support, and InSITE engineering services.
The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $452.9 million from $381 million. Work will be performed at McLean, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 3, 2027.
Fiscal 2025 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $3.2 million, and Fiscal 2026 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $4 million are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Computing, Communication, and Information Systems Contracting Branch in Rome, New York, is the contracting activity.
