NYSE uses Anthropic’s Mythos to find cyber security flaws
Investing.com -- The New York Stock Exchange has used Anthropic PBC's Project Glasswing to identify and address vulnerabilities in its cyber security systems, according to exchange President Lynn Martin.
Martin informed the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday that the exchange participated in the project as an early partner. The technology enabled the exchange to locate multiple issues and resolve them quickly, she said.
Project Glasswing provides select vetted partners with early access to Anthropic's Mythos artificial intelligence model to strengthen their cyber defenses.
Martin disclosed the exchange's involvement in the project while responding to questions from Representative Bill Huizenga, a Michigan Republican, about the organization's efforts to test its systems against coordinated cyber attacks.
The exchange president did not share details about the specific vulnerabilities discovered or the timeline for their resolution.
