Meta launches Muse Wonder AI models with advanced task capabilities
Investing.com -- Meta Platforms introduced its Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full AI models on Monday, describing them as the company's most advanced models designed for personal and professional tasks.
The new models can handle tasks including navigating insurance claims, interpreting leases, and building applications. Muse Wonder became available Monday for developers through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full is accessible to Muse Code subscribers.
Meta built the models with two features called Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory allows the models to retain information across conversations, while Active Focus enables the models to continue working on difficult tasks, try different approaches, and request clarification when needed.
The company trained the Muse Wonder models to avoid sharing private information without permission and to decline requests to assist in harmful acts. Meta said it developed the models according to its Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework.
Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg told the Financial Times that Meta has reached the AI frontier and caught up with competitors. Zuckerberg rejected calls for slowing AI development and indicated Meta would continue spending as the company is "already working on the next step up."
Zuckerberg said responsibility for model safety should fall on individual labs.
Meta shares traded 3.7% higher on Monday after the announcement.
