Lockheed Martin secures $52 million contract for rocket systems

Investing.com -- Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a $52 million contract by the U.S. Department of War for work related to rocket launcher systems.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract covers maintaining, operating and configuring the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and Multiple Launch Rocket System Launcher Fleet. The agreement also includes managing the respective repair parts storage and distribution center.
The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin's facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, with completion expected by May 14, 2031. The contract was awarded after a single bid was received through an internet solicitation.
At the time of the award, the Army obligated fiscal 2025 procurement funds totaling approximately $3.9 million, divided into three separate allocations of $342,393, $1,412,854, and $2,189,923.
The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is serving as the contracting activity for this project, which has been assigned the designation W31P4Q-26-C-0007.
