General Dynamics wins $54 million Army contract

Investing.com - General Dynamics Land Systems Inc. was awarded a $54,281,616 contract by the U.S. Department of War for Stryker vehicle sustainment services, the department announced Monday.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers original equipment manufacturer sustainment services support for the Stryker platform. Services are limited to field-level maintenance, field service representative support, and fielding activities when interactive electronic technical manuals and logistics products are not yet fully integrated.

The Sterling Heights, Michigan-based division of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) was the sole bidder for the contract, which was solicited via the internet. Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, is the contracting activity under designation W912CH-26-D-0077.

Work locations and funding will be determined with each order under the contract. The estimated completion date is Aug. 24, 2031.
