Investing.com - General Dynamics Land Systems received a $209,338,000 contract modification from the U.S. Department of War for the Abrams Engineering program, the department announced Thursday.
The modification, designated P00009, increases the total cumulative value of contract W912CH-25-C-0055 to $849,900,000. The original contract was awarded earlier in fiscal year 2025.
Work will be performed at the company's Warren, Michigan facility. The estimated completion date for the contract is Nov. 26, 2031.
The Department of War obligated $209,338,000 in fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation Army funds at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, serves as the contracting activity.
General Dynamics Land Systems is a division of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), which manufactures combat vehicles and weapons systems for the U.S. military and allied nations.
