General Dynamics IT wins $43.9M Navy contract modification
Investing.com - General Dynamics Information Technology Inc. received a $43.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of War for engineering support of the MK 41 Vertical Launching System, the agency announced Monday.
The cost-only modification to previously awarded contract N6339423C0009 covers in-service engineering support and production of Module Electronic Box, Hazard Electronic Box, and Launch Control Panel Assemblies. General Dynamics Information Technology is based in Falls Church, Virginia.
Work will be performed in Falls Church, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 2028. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division in Port Hueneme, California, serves as the contracting activity.
The contract was awarded on Aug. 27, 2026. Fiscal 2026 presidential drawdown authority funds in the amount of $43,874,231 will be obligated at time of award.
