General Dynamics (GD) secures $98 million contract extension from DoD

Investing.com -- General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Information Technology has been awarded a $98 million contract modification by the U.S. Department of Defense to extend its work supporting U.S. Air Forces Central Command.
The modification extends the ordering period of a previously awarded contract to September 8, 2026, and increases the ceiling value by $98 million. The total lifecycle value of the contract now stands at $814 million.
Under the terms of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Falls Church, Virginia-based company will continue to provide communications systems acquisition, integration, installation, operations, and maintenance services.
The work will be performed at USAFCENT locations throughout Southwest Asia. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is managing the contract activity.
The contract modification was officially awarded on June 23, 2025.
