General Dynamics (GD) secures $150 million in defense contracts

Investing.com - General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has been awarded three separate defense contracts totaling approximately $150 million for naval and air force projects, according to U.S. Department of Defense announcements on Friday.

General Dynamics NASSCO-Bremerton received an $89.4 million modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier's planned dry docking availability. The work, which includes repair, maintenance, and alterations, will be performed in Bremerton, Washington, with completion expected by August 2026.

General Dynamics Mission Systems was granted an $18.8 million cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to develop and integrate software and hardware for Navy submarines. This work will be conducted across facilities in Virginia, Rhode Island, and California, with completion scheduled for June 2026.

General Dynamics Information Technology secured a $41.7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order to develop and integrate enterprise software for battlefield communications, targeting, and battlespace awareness. This project will be executed in Beavercreek, Ohio, with an expected completion date of December 2030.

The contracts will be funded through various Navy and Air Force fiscal allocations, including operations and maintenance funds, research and development funds, and shipbuilding and conversion appropriations for fiscal years 2023 through 2025.
