Fast food restaurant stocks fall after FDA issues new cyclospora alert

Investing.com -- Shares of several restaurant chains declined Wednesday following a Food and Drug Administration alert about a new cyclospora outbreak.
Sweetgreen fell 10.4%, while Chipotle dropped 3.5%. Cava decreased 2%, and Yum! Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell, slipped 0.7%.
The FDA stated it has not yet identified the product linked to the latest cyclospora event.
