FAA proposes new rules to modernize space launch regulations
Investing.com -- The Federal Aviation Administration announced on Tuesday it is proposing new rules to streamline and modernize commercial space launch and reentry regulations.
The five new proposed rules include allowing operators to submit launch applications electronically, provide greater flexibility to demonstrate equivalent levels of safety, combine three required safety analyses into a single submission, and eliminate duplicative safety analyses.
