Credo Technology Group Inc shares dropped 5.7% in morning trading Tuesday, closing at $189.44 as the stock extended losses for a second straight session following last week's product announcements.
The decline came as new SEC filings disclosed Tuesday morning showed continued insider selling activity. Forms filed for Director and Chief Operating Officer Yat Tung Lam, including a Form 4 and a separate Form 144, added to a series of share disposals by company executives in recent weeks.
The selling has occurred under pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plans and included transactions by the company's chief technology officer and chief operating officer. The volume of insider activity over the past year has drawn attention from market participants.
The stock has retreated since Credo unveiled its 1.6T ZeroFlap active light cable at the 2026 OCP Global Summit in San Jose. The optical interconnect solution, designed for AI scale-out networks, uses roughly 30% less power than comparable cables. Commercial shipments of the product are not expected until 2027.
Stifel and Mizuho both reduced their price targets on Credo shares while maintaining bullish ratings on the stock.
