Chinese humanoid maker Unitree to debut on Shanghai exchange on August 19
Investing.com -- Unitree will begin trading on the Shanghai stock exchange on August 19, according to a filing released today to the bourse.
The company holds the position of the world's largest humanoid robot manufacturer measured by sales. It marks the first general-purpose robotics firm to list on mainland China's stock exchanges.
Unitree's humanoid robots have attracted worldwide attention for their ability to run, dance and execute martial arts movements.
The company's initial public offering saw retail investor demand exceed the available shares by more than 8,000 times, setting a record for Shanghai's STAR Market, which focuses on technology startups.
