Bessent says Iran sanctions aim to bring them to talks
Investing.com -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said today that American sanctions on Iran are designed to encourage the country to enter negotiations. Speaking to CNBC, Bessent outlined the administration's strategy toward Tehran.
The Treasury chief said the United States and China share more common ground on Iran policy than areas of disagreement.
