Investing.com -- Barrick Gold's planned North American initial public offering may be pushed to January 2027, CEO Mark Hill said Tuesday at the Mining Forum Americas in Colorado.
The gold miner still aims to complete the IPO by the end of this year, Hill said. The potential delay stems from outstanding formalities the company needs to complete.
Hill said Barrick remains on track to meet its results guidance.
The CEO also said the company needs to review its Reko Diq mine project in Pakistan. Improved security is required before full construction can begin at the site, Hill added.
