Yelp (YELP) Competitors Begin Popping Up on Apple Maps

Yelp (NYSE: YELP) could get active Monday as its grasp on a key platform begins to slip.

AppleInsider said today that TripAdvisor (Nasdaq: TRIP) and Booking.com -- of the Priceline Group (Nasdaq: PCLN) -- are beginning to have reviews show up on Apple Maps. That was a platform that previously only showed Yelp reviews to users for local search.

AppleInsider noted that TripAdvisor and Booking.com content only appears to be supplementing Yelp reviews for now and it wasn't made clear expansion plans, if any, for the other two services.

Yelp is flat in early trading.
