Uranium stocks Cameco Corp. (NYSE: CCJ) and Denison Mines Corp. (NYSE: DNN) are higher early Wednesday after the world's largest uranium mine was hit with delays.
BHP (NYSE: BHP) disclosed Wednesday with its earnings report that it doesn't expect to approve spending on new major project this year, including the Olympic Dam expansion.
In addition to CCJ, DNN others in the sector are on watch: Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE: UEC), Uranium Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: URRE), USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU), Uranerz Energy Corp. (NYSE: URZ).
