Two More Executives Depart BlackBerry (BBRY) Amid Company Shakeup

December 16, 2013 11:10 AM EST
The great BlackBerry (Nasdaq: BBRY) executive exodus continues.

According to the WSJ, BlackBerry has seen the departure of two more executives amid the efforts of interim CEO John Chen to turn the company around. Global sales executive vice president Rick Constanzo and M&A strategy head Chris Wormald will be leaving the company, sources said.

Just a few weeks back, BlackBerry saw its chief financial officer, chief operating officer, and chief marketing officer all hit the exits amid a failed attempt to sell the company.

Workforce reductions will be heavy at BlackBerry regardless, with the company aiming to trim about 40 percent of its total headcount.

Shares of BlackBerry are up about 1 percent following a Bernstein upgrade to Market Perform earlier.
