Twitter (TWTR) Still Struggling to Get Solid Foothold in China

Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) is said to have around 10 million users in China, TechCrunch said earlier Tuesday.

The number compares previously estimated amounts around 35.5 million.

TechCrunch cited a source familiar with the information on the report.

Twitter has been in China since 2009.

By comparison, Twitter has around 65 million active users in the U.S. and 310 million globally.

Shares of Twitter are down nearly 3 percent.
