Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) shares are on watch following report of another Autopilot-related Model X crash.
Electrek.co, citing info on the Tesla Motors Club forum, said the accident happened outside of Whitehall, Montana, on Saturday night. The driver was using Autopilot while traveling 56 to 60 MPH on a road that didn't have a center divider. The driver said that the Model X veered off the road and crashed through a road guard, causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
Notably, Tesla doesn't recommend using the Autosteer function on Autopilot on roads without a center divider.
The driver said he couldn't get a cellphone signal and couldn't immediately send information to Tesla.
Tesla hasn't commented on the incident as of yet.
Shares of Tesla are indicated for a higher open on Monday.
