Speedway Motorsports (TRK) Lower on Sonic Automotive (SAH) Troubles

Speedway Motorsports Inc. (NYSE: TRK) is down 5% this morning, which could be related to the 50% free-fall in shares of auto retailer Sonic Automotive Inc. (NYSE: SAH), after Sonic announced a massive Q4 loss and revised its credit agreements with lenders after a 'going-concern' comment from auditors.

Speedway Motorsports Chairman/CEO O. Bruton Smith has pledge shares as collateral for loans made to Sonic Automotive. Barry Minkow's Fraud Discovery Institute recently pointed out the pledged shares and also highlighted a number of other negatives on Speedway Motorsports.
