Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) is taking a cue from peer United (NYSE: UAL) in canceling flights in/out of New Orleans, LA, according to spokesperson Ashley Dillon. Southwest has 84 daily round trips out of the terminal.
United made a similar announcement earlier.
The cancellations come as tropical storm Isaac bears down on the Gulf Coast.
Shares of Southwest are down 1.3 percent.
