Next-Gen Apple TV Could See Significant Price Hike (AAPL)

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is largely expected to release a new Apple TV at its September event and pricing on the device might see a significant move upward.

According to 9to5mac, the next-generation Apple TV could run from $149 to $199, compared with the device's current $99 price.

Key items in the new device will Siri support, a new interface, and a new remote control, amongst other items.

Shares of Apple are down 0.3 percent.
