Microsoft (MSFT) to Change SkyDrive Name Following Litigation Outcome

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) SkyDrive may no longer be named SkyDrive soon.
CNET pointed out on Monday that Microsoft is mulling a new name for the cloud storage service. The move comes following the company losing a legal battle with British Sky Broadcasting Group's Sky last summer with a U.K. court ruling that the name SkyDrive infringed on Sky's trademark.
Names that Microsoft is mulling may include such choices as BingDrive, FetchDrive, and NewDrive.
Shares of Microsoft are up about 0.4 percent Monday.
