Microsoft (MSFT) Windows Start Menu Pops Up in Build 9788

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) could bring its infamous Start menu back to Windows before version 9 appears next year.

Reports over the weekend have photos of a Start menu for Windows 8.1 Pro, or build 9788. Some might think the screenshot is fake, but sources close to Microsoft said the image is real.

Shares of Microsoft are up 0.4 percent
