Microsoft, AT&T (T) Cut Price of Nokia's Lumia 1020 by $100

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is lower Friday following earlier reports that its latest and greatest smartphone -- the Lumia 1020 -- isn't selling too well.

While those exact words weren't in print, it was noted that Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and AT&T (NYSE: T) slashed the price of the device by $100. Those interested in the camera-centric device can now land one at Microsoft stores or AT&T for $199 with two-year contract.

While Microsoft Store sales are for this week only, AT&T is keeping the price cut permanent.

Caution, there's a limit of five per customer.

Nokia is down 1.4 percent today. The Lumia 1020 launched on July 11th.
