Mattel (MAT) Said to Appoint New Head of Barbie Unit

Mattel (NASDAQ: MAT) is said to have appointed Lisa McKnight as the head of its Barbie business, according to Dow Jones.
McKnight will replace Evelyn Mazzocco, who led the unit since 2014. It wasn't made clear what Mazzocco's role would be at Mattel, though she's still with the company.
News comes as Barbie recently launched new body shapes for its popular doll. Sales for the unit inched up to $328 million in the most-recent quarter, breaking a sales decline of eight-straight quarters.
Shares of Mattel are up 2 percent.
