According to reports from Reuters, Massachusetts's $50+ billion pension fund fired Bill Miller's Legg Mason (NYSE: LM) unit and four other firms from managing $1.8 billion in stocks.
The fund will transfer about $1.4 billion of the portfolio to State Street Corp. (NYSE: STT).
