JCPenney (NYSE: JCP) shares are up 3.6 percent followng a NY Post article which said that the company will likely cut ties with Martha Stewart Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO) amid an expected ruling over a contract dispute between the two and Macy's (NYSE: M).
This afternoon, Bloomberg cites JCPenney spokesperson Kristin Hays is saying that the company will make a decision on Martha Stewart after the verdict is issued. Hays declined to comment on the earlier report.
