Carl Icahn can't seem to leave Bill Ackman alone these days. First, an on-air battle over Herbalife (NYSE: HLF) were Icahn called Ackman a 'crying school boy." Next a 'thank you' to Ackman via Icahn for making him a boatload in the stock. Now today, Icahn said the New York Time's shots at shareholder activism due to Ackman only proves that something is wrong with Ackman, not activism.
Via his twitter account (@Carl_C_Icahn), Mr. Icahn said: "NYT's thesis that Ackman's actions prove something is wrong with activism is specious. His actions prove only something is wrong with Ackman"
Long live shareholder activism... long live Carl.
