Hurd Lied to HP (HPQ) Board

According to a letter from incoming Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ) chairman Ray Lane sent to the New York Times, former CEO Mark Hurd lied to the Board of Directors at HP will serving as the company's chief executive officer.
"No board can retain a CEO who violates the trust and integrity needed to lead a public company," Lane wrote.
HP has been publicly criticized by analysts, shareholders and other business leaders for pushing Hurd out.
Shortly after departing HP, Hurd was hired by Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL).
