Goldman Sachs (GS) Cancels Miami Hedge Fund Conference

Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) cancels a Hedge Fund Conference it was going to host in Miami. It will now change the location of the conference to New York, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Currently, JP Morgan (NYSE: JPM) is hosting a High-Yield & Leveraged Finance Conference at the Loew's Hotel in Miami.

Companies that are in receipt of government funding do not want to be the subject of media criticism for hosting expensive conferences or vacations.
