General Electric (NYSE: GE) said a press release stating that the company, responding to public outcry, will donate its entire $3.2 billion tax refund to help offset cuts and save American jobs is a "hoax."
A fake press release surfaced about the refund and was immediately reported as truth by The Associated Press.
