GNC Holdings (NYSE: GNC) agreed to pay $2.25 million in settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice over supplement sales, according to a statement released earlier Wednesday (and that is embedded below).
GNC agreed that it engaged in acts and omissions that allowed a misbranded supplement” to be priduced by a supplier without additional testing for ingredient verification.
