Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) is expected to announce a new Kindle device this week, though details appear to have already leaked.
The Verge said today that Amazon's latest-and-greatest e-reader will be called the Kindle Oasis. The device has the typical black-and-white display users have come to know and love, while it also sports a larger bezel on one side for easier grip.
Resolution is said to be at 300ppi, while the Oasis also has 60 percent more LEDs than the Kindle Voyage. Weight comes in at 131 grams (0.29lbs), the device is 3.4 millimeters (0.13 inches) at its thinnest point and 8.5mm (0.34 inches) at its thickest.
Pricing wasn't speculated.
Shares of Amazon are up modestly Monday.
