Gaming revenue in China exploded in 2012, soaring 35.8 percent according to data from the Shanghai Press and the Publication Administration. Overall online gaming revenue totaled 19 billion Yuan or $3 billion U.S. dollars. The bullish data is likely to make struggling U.S. game developer Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) green with envy. Zynga's revenue is expected to total $1.1 billion in 2012. Reports also say China online and mobile game exports are increasing.
