Boeing (BA) Tops Airbus in Q1 Net Orders, Deliveries

Boeing (NYSE: BA) is said to have edged-out rival Airbus in net order bookings for Q115.

According to the latest data made available from the two companies, Airbus reported 84 new orders in March for Q1 deals of 121 units. However, the company also said it had 20 cancellations, bringing the net total orders to 101 aircraft.

Boeing reported total net orders of 110 aircraft for Q1.

In terms of jets delivered, Boeing recorded 184 units in the last quarter, while Airbus announced 134 aircraft deliveries in the same period.

Shares of Boeing are up 0.3 percent ahead of the opening bell Tuesday.
