Apple Watch Shipments Start Off Slow (AAPL)

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) may have a hot-seller on its hands with the Apple Watch, but getting that product to customers might be a slow process.

According to Slice Intelligence, only about one-fifth of Apple Watch orders have shipped. About 376,000 of the 1.7 million Apple Watch pre-orders were delivered to customers last weekend, about 22 percent of the total.

Slice sees 547,000 Watches shipping between now and June 11, the others will need to wait for an email from Apple to get an updated shipping time.

Shares of Apple are up over 2 percent early Monday.
