Apple (AAPL) Quietly Retakes $500 Level

Shares of Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) moved above the $500/share level mid-day Tuesday as investors are positive about new retail head - Angela Ahrendts, the former CEO of Burberry. In addition, investors are positive into the company's 10/28 Q4 earnings call.
Shares of Apple last traded at $500.90, up 1% mid-day. Shares are up over 7% since announcing on September 23rd that it sold a record-breaking nine million new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models, just three days after the launch of the new iPhones on September 20.
The stocks last close above $500 was September 9th, the day before the announcement of the two new iPhone models.
