Apple (AAPL) Q1 Watch Shipments Expected at ~4.8M Units

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is holding an event today for its new smartwatch, dubbed the Apple Watch. But, just what kind of early success can investors expect from the product?

Digitimes said Monday that shipments in Q115 should amount to 4.8 million units, which should move up to 9 million units in Q215.

Quanta Computer is also said to be sole manufacturer of the device, sources said.
