Apple (AAPL) Launches TestFlight Beta Testing for iOS 8 Developers

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) debuted TestFlight Beta Testing today.

According to a post on Apple's official developers site:

TestFlight Beta Testing makes it easy to invite users to test pre-release versions of your iOS 8 apps before you release them on the App Store. You can invite up to 1,000 beta testers using just their email address.

Apple had a soft roll out of TestFlight earlier this week, with the official launch being today.

TestFlight's parent, Burstly, was acquired several months ago. At the time, all TestFlight compatibility for Android stopped.

Shares of Apple are up 2.4 percent Wednesday.
