Apple (AAPL) Could Price iPad Mini at $299, Ship in Q3

More information related to the Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad mini.
According to Digitimes, the iPad mini will have a 7.85-inch display and be priced at $299. Timing for release is expected at the end of the calendar-year third-quarter 2012.
This is similar to what Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster was mulling as of Monday. Munster didn't give specific panel dimensions, though something less than 8-inches has been rumored for a while.
Shares of Apple are indicated 0.3 percent higher in early trading Tuesday.
