Reports are flying Wednesday afternoon that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) CEO Steve Jobs was seen leaving the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California.
Radar Online first reported the rumor, followed by the National Enquirer picking up the story, claiming to have pictures of Apple's head man, but the images were not disclosed at the time of this report by the tabloid publication.
Jobs is currently on his third medical leave from Apple, after defeating a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2004 and receiving a liver transplant in 2009.
The National Enquirer points out that only 4 percent of patients with pancreatic cancer survive for longer than five years.
The report come a day following Jobs commenting on the new Apple subscription service of the App Store. The CEO has reportedly remained in heavy contact with the goings on of Apple since taking a medical leave to focus on his health.
Shares of Apple are down $2.13 to $361.00 in aftermarket movement on Wednesday.
